Hello Richard,

Sorry, I have not responded sooner. I've been away from this website for a while. Yes, I have read your book and enjoyed it very much. It's a great book that I would recommend to everyone who enjoys building bird houses. It gave me a lot of inspiration.

Thanks,
Marcus

Hello , I seen you were wanting a Burger Chef ( Wren ) Birdhouse..
I live in Terre Haute , and I do have one. It is dusty and needs to be cleaned up.
But it is in very good shape. The paint and Logo is still very nice.
I never knew how rare it is to find one of these . I was going to post it on E-bay
this weekend . If you want check it out before I post it.
E-mail me at: buddydalejarvis@yahoo.com and let me know.
I buy and sell Guitars on E-bay , so ...I know nothing about Birdhouses.
Thank you for your time, .....Bud..

Thanks, we made the holes larger so we could get pictures of the birds eating inside. I also stuck a video out on YouTube of a tufted titmouse eating in the milk carton bird feeder.

The photo of the dead Rose-breasted Grosbeak suddenly made me switch from a curious bystander in the story of deceased birds falling from the skies, to a grieving soul mate. Normally we see these creatures when they are alive, colouful and vivid, but in this case, mysterious death seems to mock beauty.

The name is unusual because they are typically homes for pigeons. Maybe they should have called them pigeon houses. Thanks for the comment!
